An Event for The Whole Family
As part of St. John’s Time, an umbrella festival that promotes the top summer events happening around the same time (Downtown Busker Festival, George Street Festival, The Regatta, and The Folk Festival), the Buskers Festival is a highly anticipated event for the whole family.
With three stages set within the downtown core, you’re welcome to move between each one to see a number of performances, which occur every hour from noon to 10 pm daily (except Friday show start at 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm).
Watch as jugglers, magicians, acrobats, comedians, and plenty of performers we couldn’t even begin to define, show you what they can do!
Shows begin on the hour every day. Friday’s shows begin at 6:00 pm and the last show begins at 9:00 pm and ends at 10:00 pm. Saturday and Sunday shows begin at noon and the last show ends at 10:00 pm.
Three busking stages:
#1 Fun Zone – Water Street east at Solomon’s Lane (same parking lot as Reel Downtown Outdoor Movie Screenings)
#2 Fortis Building – Corner of Water Street east and Prescott Street/Job’s Cove
#3 Harbourside Park – Water Street east across from the War Memorial
Please note in case of inclement weather on Saturday and Sunday performances will be held in the food court of Atlantic Place. A revised rain schedule will be posted later.
World-renowned street entertainer and astounding performer Sean Bridges mixes amazing bicycle stunts, incredible juggling tricks and his spontaneous, zany humour to put on a thrilling, fearless funny show. Bike Boy Sean Bridges will be performing all weekend long from the Fun Zone stage on Water Street at the foot of Solomon’s Lane.
