Harbour Interceptor Sewer Contract 9 - Harbour Drive West April 14, 2009

Please be advised that as of Thursday, April 16, 2009, RJG Construction Ltd. will be returning to the site to commence construction for the 2009 construction season. Harbour Drive will be closed between Bishop's Cove and Beck's Cove. Both Bishop's and Beck's coves will remain open to traffic.

Urban Sprawl vs Smart Growth - Lessons from Maine April 13, 2009

A public forum is being held to discuss smart growth and urban planning on the North East Avalon. The forum will include a presentation from Maine lawyer John Kaminski about his work on 'smart growth' projects in Maine. Discussion let by moderator Ted Blades with respondents Shane O'Dea, Chris Sharpe and Shannie Duff.

The public forum takes place on Wednesday, Arpil 15 2009 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Foran Greene Room, St. John's City Hall. All are welcome.
