Visitors GuideThe City of St. John's is calling for nominations for its 17th annual Tourism Awards. The annual awards celebration heightens the awareness of tourism and its economic impact on the City of St. John's.
To highlight the importance of the tourism industry to St. John's, the City presents five awards to recognize the contributions of local people to the growth and development of the industry. The five annual awards are:
1. Legend Award
2. Event of the Year Award
3. Signal Award (cruise)
4. Admiral Award (convention)
5. Victoria Wagon (taxi driver)
To nominate an individual or group, please return the nomination form before 4:30 pm on Wednesday, April 2, 2008.
