Visitors GuideThe 3rd Annual Aliant Downtown Busker Festival starts today at noon and runs until 9:00 pm tonight. The festival takes place throughout downtown today until Sunday, August 6 at the Murray Premises Courtyard, the Scotia Center Plaza, the Fortis Building Promenade and Harbourside Park. i just came from the Busker Fest and enjoyed Becky's performance! i enjoyed Mason's performance too, but it turned me off when he was asking for money ... he sounded rude. begging for money is ok, but telling people that if you only have loose change in your pocket, to better just keep it, is a bit rude. and he named his price! he wanted a minimum of $5 for seeing his act! because of that, i didnt give him a cent. i wish you would just showcase more local talents than flying somebody from the US to perform rather rudely. there are local talents who can do better!
