ST. JOHN'S TIME - July 27 - August 6, 2006 April 26, 2006

Released at City Hall today amidst jugglers and music - St. John's Time, the City's new festival marketing concept. Embracing the George Street Festival, Royal St. John's Regatta, Downtown St. John's Buskers Festival, Newfoundland & Labrador Folk Festival, St. John's Time reinforces the individuality of each event while focusing a specific longer time period to be enjoyed by tourists and citizens alike.

St. John's Time is depicted by a row of houses, bracing against an accordion. It is felt this image of a St. John's Time truly represents St. John's, the history, the culture and the tradition. The marketing campaign is supported by a website: www.stjohnstime.ca

The St. John's Time marketing program is another project of St. John's Cultural Capital Year supported by the Department of Canadian Heritage.
