The Queen Elizabeth II is scheduled to arrive on Saturday, September 3rd at 7:00 am and depart at 3:00 pm from the Foxtrap Marina in CBS. Approximately, 1, 850 passengers and 1011 crew will be on board. The ship is on a Southampton Transatlantic Cruise (20 days) visiting Foxtrap/St. John’s, Halifax, Boston, Newport, New York before sailing back to Southampton.
Passengers will embark on pre-arranged tours with Wildland Tours. A shuttle service will be in place for the passengers from Foxtrap to downtown St. John’s. This service is being provided by Cunard Cruise Lines. Pier 7 will be used as the drop off and pick-up location for the shuttles. Shuttles are scheduled to start at 9:30 am and finish at 1:30 pm. DDC and City Tourist Information Ambassadors will be on location assisting visitors upon their arrival.
It is anticipated passengers will be landing via tender boats at the Foxtrap marina by 8:00 am. Those traveling on pre-arranged tours will disembark the ship first. Followed closely by those visitors on their own itineraries. All passengers must be back on board the ship by 2:00 pm at minimum of one hour prior to departure.
