"Designer Guys" Close Shop

A popular downtown business has closed its doors. "Decadence by Design" on Water Street was co-owned by Newfoundlander Chris Hyndman and Steven Sabados of the popular make-over show "Designer Guys." The store opened in 2003 selling the finest in home decor.
Hyndman and Sabados regrettably closed the store last week so they could devote more time to their other projects, including a possible deal with a major retailer. A source close to the pair says they are very excited about ongoing discussions to develop their own brand of designer products.
