VE Day Celebrations Downtown

The VE, or Victory in Europe, celebrations will mark their 60th anniversary with a parade in the Downtown core on Sunday May 7th.
The parade of more than 1000 participants will begin on Water Street, just east of Cochrane Street, at 11:15 am. Participants will march to the War Memorial where there will be a short ceremony at 11:25 am.
The parade then proceeds to the courthouse where the participants will accept the salute from various dignitaries. Following the salute, participants will march to Ayre's Cove where the parade will disperse at approximately 12:00 noon.
