
Join us downtown for the 4th Annual Downtown Busker Festival August 3 - 5, daily from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
International, national and local performers put on a show like no other. Juggling, acrobatics, magic, comedy and so much more await you at three busking stages throughout downtown. A show every 30 minutes. Admission is FREE to the event. You as an audience member decide how much to pay a performer based on the act. Jeff Hill
Magic that Rocks! Jeff hits St John's with his show rich in decibels, flames, steel and a very high level of cool! A show for all ages, Jeff is pure
entertainment in the tradition of your favorite rock and roll concerts, filled with magic, music, fire and wicked back twisting escapes! From Halifax to Aruba, from Toronto to Singapore, Jeff Hill rocks the festival and kicks asphalt!
The Coralies
Inspired by 1920’s burlesque acts, The Coralies, featuring Melanie Gusella and Nadine Labelle, will amaze you with their flamboyant and modern style. This female duet includes fabulous hand balancing, acrobatic cycling and comedy in their charming show.
Helium Aerial Dance
Featuring Heather Hammond and Lindsay Stephens, Helium Aerial Dance out of Ontario will be performing "So You Think You Can Circus". It's a cross between Canadian Idol and So You Think You Can Dance, all performed while hanging from their aerial apparatus!
NYC Players
Featuring Darion Movasseghi (Big D) and Gary Taggart (Jazzy G), the NYC PLAYERS perform an amazing show full of mind blowing Bucket and Drum Set Drumming, side splitting comedy and jaw dropping visual effects combined with various tricks!
East Rock Crew (ERC)
East Rock Crew will be taking back the streets with their B-Boy antics and their raw street-dance style. Non-Stop Hip-Hop at its finest. East Rock is a local breaking crew armed with Linoleum a boom-box and ready to entertain.
Matt Sharpe Magic
Local magician Matt Sharpe brings classic magic with a modern touch. Enjoy magic, interaction and fun from one of the newest entertainers on the island.
The Wandering Brush
Try and catch Derek James & his wandering artistic brush doing body art for youth and adults throughout the festival at various venue sites.
